Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston, South Carolina was one of the biggest cultural centers during the late 1600’s. Because of this many colonial musicians and actors made their way to this beautiful land. The “Living Museum” is still one of the biggest attraction in the city and honors the city with its contributions to the arts and humanities.

Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States and is home to our Nation’s president. Inside the city are some of the world’s most famous landmarks that include, the White House, Smithsonian Institute, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Arlington National Cemetery.

Many of the Capital area’s most famous attractions can be found in Northern Virginia, which is located just across the Potomac to the west of the District. These attractions span the time from the colonial period to the emergence of America as the preeminent national power in the twentieth century.

Williamsburg, VA

Williamsburg, Virginia is a great city that offers a little bit of everything. The city has some history to it – but it also has one of the largest theme parks in the country – Busch Gardens. Colonial Williamsburg is the place to go to see actors and volunteers bring the 1770 city to life. As you walk around the town you can see everyone busy going about their natural ways and doing the things that they would have done during that time.

Niagara Falls

There are so many natural and beautiful things to see around the country. One of the most beautiful sites to see is Niagara Falls. What most people don’t know is that Niagara Falls is really three different falls each next to the other. Together they are called Niagara Falls. Seperately they are called American Falls, Bidal Veil Falls, and Canadian/Horseshoe Falls.

Tennessee

Tennessee is the home of country music and the birthplace of Elvis Presley. It is a true southern state that will provide you with fun times, great music, and even a little bit of history. While you’re visiting you can see the amazing Ruby Falls and the Ryman Auditorium.

Ruby Falls, a thundering 145-foot waterfall is located on Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. On your fun-filled and educational tour you will delight in viewing intriguing formations and having the opportunity to walk behind the sparkling waterfall. Millions of visitors have been thrilled for 75 years over this amazing sight.

Grand Canyon

Their are many beautiful and naturtal sites to see in the United States. One of the most amazing sites that you will ever be able to see is the vastness of the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. It is more than an awe-inspiring view. It is more than a pleasuring ground for those who explore the roads, hike the trails, or float the currents of the turbulent Colorado River.

Sarasota Springs, NY

Saratoga Springs is it a great place to visit no matter what time of year. Saratoga Springs came into being as the site of the health-giving springs, before the founding of the country. It has continued to flourish as a place of rejuvenation to this day with the Lincoln Baths and Crystal Spa.

St. Augustine, Florida

A great place to take your children to on vacation is St. Augustine, Florida. It has a great mix of historical landmarks and yet is still surrounded by fun things to do and to enjoy all day long. St. Augustine is full of so much history that it is hard to see everything in just one day. St. Augustine is famous for being the spot where Ponce De Leon ‘discovered’ the fountain of youth. Also many battles were fought on the shores and around the fort that was built to protect the city.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

It is always important to take the children on a fun trip, but sometimes  it’s important to take them somewhere where they can also learn new things. One of the places that I liked visiting when I was a child was the great city of Gettysburg, Penn. Not only did I get to see a brand new state, but I was able to see where one of the famous battles in history was fought.
